Structural confinement toward suppressing concentration and thermal quenching for improving near-infrared luminescence of Fe3+

To enhance near-infrared luminescence, we introduce Fe3+ and Yb3+ ions to Sr9Ga(PO4)7 and utilize the structural confinement effect to selectively control energy transfer pathways so as to suppress luminescence concentration and thermal quenching.
