By regulating the surface dynamics of Sal-Cu/OMe-Cu motifs of a {Ti10Cu2} cluster, (Ti10Cu2)sp and (Ti10Cu2)cs have been achieved and characterized, and the results show the distinguishing electrical and catalytic properties of the two assemblies.
