Molybdenum sulfide–silver (MoS2/Ag) nanocomposites were synthesized via a single step of ultrasonication and employed as surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates for crystal violet (CV) detection at concentrations down to 1.17 × 10−11 M.
