Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University
The University, initially known as Andhra Pradesh Open University, was set up on 26th August 1982 through on Act of the A.P.State Legislature (APOU Act 1982). Subsequently, the University was renamed as Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Open University on 26 October, 1991 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Open University Library was started in the year 1983. The Central Library is located in the main campus of the University at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Library serves the needs of the teaching, non-teaching, research scholars and students of the University. Students are allowed for reference purpose. More Information on Library
